Independent Travel Experts was launched in 2011 in partnership with the Travel Trust Association (TTA), a division of The Travel Network Group (TTNG). We are fully bonded to offer the highest level of financial protection for our customers and backed by the TTNG, we are able to offer our clients the widest choice of holidays from the biggest brand names to the smaller and more individual operators – selling the holiday that is right for you and to meet your needs as a discerning traveller.
The Travel Trust Association is a travel trade association. Members consist of travel agents, tour operators and travel organisers.
The Travel Trust Association exists in order to protect you, the customer, with 100% financial protection and has been doing so for over 20 years. This means that every penny that you pay to "The Perfect Destination" is protected by the Travel Trust Association.
My name is Despina and I have worked for numerous Tour Operators and Travel Agents in the past. I am now an Independent Travel Agent. I love travelling but more importantly I really love creating the perfect holiday for my clients. Being a member of the Independent Travel Experts means that I am not tied to any particular company therefore offering you a bespoke service.
It is your responsibility to check whether you need a visa to enter your destination country.
VISA requirements can change at any time, and for this reason we recommend you check with the relevant Consulate or Embassy. We advise that you ensure all applications are in process a minimum of 4 weeks prior to departure.
Please visit the FCO on the link below for up to date travel advice.
Yes, you need a passport to travel and will be prevented boarding if you do not have one.
UK Passport holders:
Most countries outside the EU will require you to have a valid passport for 6 months after your return date. This does vary from country to country, and we recommend that you check the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) website for advice for the specific country you are travelling to.
For non-UK passport holders, you will need to contact the embassy or consulate of the country you are travelling to. These contacts can also be found on the FCO website.
Your documents will be checked at the UK departure point for your trip, and if not deemed acceptable, you will be denied travel. So please make sure you check your documentation. If you need to organise a new passport, please allow plenty of processing time before your departure, although you can pay an additional fee to expedite UK passport delivery. More information can be obtained here Apply for a UK Passport.
